WHAT IS THE TDC?

Test and Diagnostics Consortium (TDC) is a mutually beneficial forum for users and suppliers.  It was formed as a non-profit organization by representatives from the commercial airlines, trucking, railroad, satellite, government, and other user markets.   

HOW LONG HAS TDC BEEN AN ORGANIZATION?

TDC was formed as a non-profit organization in 1998.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF TDC?

To conduct joint research activities intended to standardize and improve test and diagnostics systems and equipment used by these companies.

WHO PARTICIPATES IN THE TDC?

Companies that use, supply, or support T&D equipment are members of the TDC.  Click here to see a list of current members.

HOW DO I BECOME INVOLVED?

If you are interested in working with the members of TDC, you can join by completing an application and sending it to the address shown on the application.

WHEN IS THE NEXT TDC MEETING?

Currently, there is not a meeting scheduled for the members.  A Board of Directors conference call is held every two weeks.  The Board members held a meeting during AUTOTESTCON 2004, in which the Board created TDC's new direction.

What is TDC's New Direction?

TDC will begin hosting initiatives and providing legal and administrative support to working groups. After asking the TDC members for project ideas, it was decided that the first working group to be supported would be the Resource Adapter Interface (RAI) Working Group. The RAI is an element of the DoD’s ATS Framework. After this group has been formed and is proven successful with the help of TDC, TDC will then look into hosting other initiatives.
